The 2-day training focuses on the residential building sector and introduces trainees to green building market activity, trends, principles, practices, trades, and career pathway opportunities. Hands-on activities involve performing blower door testing, utilizing infrared cameras, reviewing plan sets, working with a table top house model, and assembling high performance wall mockups. On-site elements include performing a site visit to an under-construction green certified affordable housing project that provides Q&A opportunities with the construction team and instructor.
